Missing child sought in Terrace

TERRACE RCMP officers are this morning looking for Gavin Ryan-Ottens, a 10-year-old boy missing since yesterday.

He left his school at approximately 9 am May 3 and was then seen by family members in the Ferry Island campground/Walmart area.

He was seen again by family members at approximately 11 am near Save-On Foods at the Skeena Mall but ran away.

“Gavin is described as a Caucasian male, 10 years of age, 4’6″, 80lbs, blonde hair and blue eyes. Gavin was last observed wearing a brown jacket, green camouflage pants and carrying a black backpack,” reads a statement from Terrace RCMP.

He is known to frequent the following areas:

– Cyber Café on Lakelse Ave

– Wal-Mart

– Ferry Island Campground

– Terrace Public Library

– The Dollar Store

– McDonald’s
