Knife-wielding masked man robs Terrace liquor store

Terrace RCMP are looking for the public’s assistance in finding the Hallowe’en mask-wearing man who robbed the Days Inn liquor store of bottles of liquor Nov. 2 after brandishing a knife at employees.

Employees told police the man wearing a black Hallowe’en mask with a while skull face on the front entered the Lakelse Ave. store before 7:30 p.m. Nov. 2 stating, “are you gonna give me a bottle?”

“The suspect flashed a knife in his waistband, eventually drawing it out at the staff. The suspect made off with bottles of liquor and fled on foot. No one was injured in this incident,” police reported.

The man is described as being six feet tall with a slim build and wearing black jeans, a black shirt and black socks but no shoes. He may have a tattoo on his right hand.
