Kitimat and Terrace emergency teams help stranded truck driver

RCMP confirm driver appeared to be uninjured

UPDATE: RCMP said on Monday (June 27) that the driver of the water truck appeared uninjured.

Kitimat and Terrace fire departments, Terrace Search and Rescue, Terrace Emergency Services and a contracted rope rescue team responded to a rolled over water truck at the Kitimat River forest service road between Terrace and Kitimat on Friday. Captain Glen Robinson of the Kitimat Fire Department said the driver was helped out of his truck and taken in an ambulance to Terrace. Robinson was unsure if there were any injuries and the driver’s condition remains unknown.
