STREETS IN and around Terrace will soon be viewed up close and in detail by Google Maps users around the world.
One of Google's small cars equipped with a specialized roof-top camera is currently making the rounds of the area.
“Google Maps with Street View lets you explore places around the world through 360-degree street-level imagery. You can check out restaurants, visit neighborhoods, or plan your next trip,” states information on the Google Maps website.
In addition to the Kitimat-Stikine regional district, Google Maps has the Bulkley-Nechako regional district, the Cariboo regional district, the Columbia-Shuswap regional district, Greater Vancouver and the capital area on its current “to-do” list for British Columbia.
