The 4600 block of Davis Ave. is getting a remake.
Along with the road reconstruction to be completed this summer on that street, the seniors housing units on the former farmers market site are also nearing completion.
These 24 units are part of the provincial and federal government's $123 million seniors' rental housing initiative to provide housing to seniors and people with disabilities.
Each government is putting in $61.8 million into the project, while the municipalities the units are in are providing the land.
