Falcon takes campaign to northwest

Another BC Liberal leader hopeful has scheduled a visit to Terrace and the northwest.

Surrey-Cloverdale MLA Kevin Falcon will be meeting with members at 10:30 a.m. this Friday, Jan. 21 at the Best Western in a session dubbed “listening, learning, leading with local members.”

He'll be stopping by Prince Rupert tomorrow and Smithers on Friday as well.

Falcon has previously been the health minister, transportation minister, and minister of state for de-regulation.

He's the fifth BC leadership candidate to tour the Northwest since January; Shuswap MLA George Abbott, Abbotsford MLA Mike de Jong, former deputy premier Christy Clark, and Vancouver-Langara MLA Dr. Moira Stilwell have stopped by the area.

Parksville mayor Ed Mayne is also running for the spot.
