During the same time period, there were 14 people lodged in Terrace Cells – of these people, nine were lodged for intoxication.

Here are some of the calls responded to:

The rims and tires were stolen from a grey 2012 Ford F 150 parked at a business on Hwy 16 east in Thornhill on April 4th sometime between 1 and 3 a.m.

A 2006 flat deck trailer with BC LP #UGP85N was stolen from the front driveway of a residence on Medeek Ave. during the night of April 4th/5th. The trailer is described as home-built, square in shaped with a U-shape cut out of the top middle, 10 feet long, aluminum wheel wells, and the back ramp/grate is made of round tube and grating.

Attempt was made to pass a counterfeit $50 bill at a business.

Loss Prevention Officer of Walmart arrested a 31-year-old man for shoplifting. Police arrested the man and charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.

Theft of two bikes from a garage on River Dr. The first bike is a grey Norco Bigfoot 14 speed mountain bike with a grey skull sticker on the frame. The second bike is a black Kona Dawg 21 speed mountain bike with some McBike stickers on it.

Group of intoxicated people in a back alley off Lakelse Ave. Police arrested a 37-year-old man for breaching his undertaking by failing to abstain from the consumption of alcohol. Charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.

Two intoxicated females causing a disturbance on Lakelse Ave. Police arrested a 26-year-old woman and a 13-year-old girl for intoxication.

Sexual interference investigation. Charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel on a 26-year-old woman.

Domestic dispute. Police arrested an intoxicated 23-year-old man. No injuries.

Ongoing issues with quads near the Copper River Bridge.

Checks were conducted on a trailer parked on the side of a road near Haugland Ave. The licence plate was reported as lost/stolen and seized.

A grey 2013 Ford Fusion was pulled over in the parking lot of the Hidber Arena. The 36-year-old driver provided a sample of breath into a roadside screening device that resulted in a fail. He was arrested for impaired driving and provided breath samples that were over the legal limit. Charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.

Intoxicated person acting in an irrational manner outside of a residence on Haugland Ave. Police arrested a 19-year-old man for breaching a recognizance by failing to abstain from the consumption of alcohol, by being outside of his residence when intoxicated, and by being out of his residence past his curfew. Charges of breach of recognizance x 3 are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.

A grey 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass was pulled over on Sande Ave. The 20-year-old driver provided two samples of breath into a roadside screening device that resulted in fails. He was served an Immediate Roadside Prohibition and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.

A 48-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman were denied boarding an airplane due to their level of intoxication and were being belligerent. Police spoke with the man and woman.

A Samsung LCD 3D 55-inch TV was stolen from Easyhome on Lakelse Ave. on April 5th at 4 p.m. The man left in a white 2003 truck. Under investigation.

A red 2008 Honda Civic was pulled over on Old Lakelse Lake Dr./Crescent St. An odour of marijuana was detected and the 26-year-old driver and 22-year-old passenger were arrested. An amount of marijuana was seized.

Attempted theft from a vehicle parked at a residence in the 4900 block of Graham Ave. The alarm of the vehicle went off at 3 a.m. and the thief, dressed in dark clothing, was observed leaving the area.

Domestic assault. An intoxicated 47-year-old man was arrested. No injuries.

A green 2001 Chevrolet Silverado truck was struck by a blue 2000 GMC Sierra truck changing lanes on Lakelse Ave./Emerson St. Minor damage to both vehicles. No injuries.

A vehicle was observed submerged in water in the ditch just west of Slickenside Creek on Hwy 16. Swift Water Rescue entered the water and determined that nobody was in the vehicle and obtained licence plate information. It was determined that the grey 2007 Jeep Cherokee ended up in the ditch in May, 2013 in a motor vehicle incident.

A small pink purse containing cash, an iPod, and makeup was stolen from the Aquatic Centre.

Investigation of an allegation of an improper search conducted.

Intoxicated girl in the hallway of an apartment building on Pear St. Police arrested a 13-year-old girl for intoxication. She refused to cooperate by not walking nor standing and was eventually carried to the police car.

An intoxicated man demanding to be admitted to Mills Memorial Hospital and refusing to leave. Police spoke with the man who was intoxicated and said he was hungry. He was arrested.

An intoxicated girl throwing chairs at Mills Memorial Hospital. Police arrested the 11-year-old girl for intoxication.

Domestic dispute. A woman threatened to stab a man with a knife and locked him out of the residence. Police spoke with a man and woman. The threat was unsubstantiated and the couple was separated. A short time later, police were called back when the man returned to the residence. Police re-attended and spoke with the man and an agreement was reached. The man was transported to other accommodation.
