People in Terrace will have a chance to hear from the city council byelection candidates during an all-candidates forum on Tuesday, May 25 at 7 p.m.

Hosted by the Terrace & District Chamber of Commerce, the forum will hosted virtually through Zoom by Sarah Zimmerman, Coast Mountain College executive director of communications. A livestream of the forum will be available on the chamber’s Facebook page and a recording will be posted to the City of Terrace website.

The forum will take the same format as February’s Terrace trustee byelection which was also produced by the chamber of commerce.

People wishing to ask questions of candidates Dave Gordon, Amandeep Singh Saini, Joely Viveiros and Alex Pietralla are asked to submit them in advance by email at admin@terracechamber.com or by dropping them off at 3224 Kalum St.

Questions must be submitted by 2 p.m. on May 25.

“We encourage members of the community to get involved, submit questions to the chamber for the forum and vote in this upcoming election,” said Tom Keller, chamber president, in a media release.
