TERRACE RCMP are warning people to make sure to lock their vehicle doors and ensure valuables are not left in the vehicle after a convicted thief told officers he will likely continue to steal from vehicles to supplement his income.
That man has now been released, said police.
Locking your vehicle doors is the single most effective way to deter thieves.
There have been 17 reported thefts from vehicles in the past month and in a majority of these cases, the vehicles were left unlocked, said police.
