CANUCK Nation invades the Baltics.

THIRTY FOUR British Columbians, many from Terrace, are touring Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Russia. Along the way we are inducting the local population into "Canuck Nation," reports George Clark from Elan Travel in Terrace.

This photo shows the group posing in front of the Rundale Palace. It is one of two 18th century baroque palaces built for the Dukes of Courland.

"Whenever we have a sightseeing guide they are easily indentified by the Canadian and a Canuck flag," says Clark.

The tour includes a stop in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Editor's note. And if anyone traveling near or far has a Canucks photo to share, we'd love to post it on line. Our email address is newsroom@terracestandard.com
