B.C. Premier visits Terrace and Kitimat

Christy Clark to tour Northwest Community College in Terrace

WITH A growing emphasis on trades training by all levels of government, First Nations and industry, Northwest Community College in Terrace is becoming a popular photo opportunity stopping spot for visiting politicians.

That's certainly going to be the case tomorrow when B.C. Premier Christy Clark visits the college campus here.

It's one of three stops in Terrace and Kitimat planned for the premier as the days count down to the official start of the provincial election campaign.

The last visiting politician to stop in at the college was federal natural resources minister Joe Oliver just last month.

Clark, just like Oliver, will tour the college's trades building.

The premier is also to speak at a luncheon hosted by the Terrace and District Chamber of Commerce and will then visit the Kitimat Valley Institute training facility in Kitimat.

She'll also be speaking to members of the Kitimat Chamber of Commerce.
