Toronto FC forward Jermain Defoe was snubbed by England’s national team, left off their roster for the upcoming 2016 World Cup in Rio by manager Roy Hodgson.

Now, he’s fully focused on the MLS and FC’s matchup with the Vancouver Whitecaps at BC Place. The second leg of their Canadian Championship showdown goes tonight, Wednesday, May 14.
