The SkeenaWild Film and Photo Festival returns this fall, a chance to celebrate and explore the beauty and diversity of the Skeena region.

Launched in 2010, SWFF showcases film and photography submitted by Northern B.C. residents and people from around the world who love exploring this incredible melting pot of stories, visions and perspectives that illuminate the wonder of the Skeena Watershed.

Last year, organizers saw significant growth in the festival, with a record number of submissions across all categories and many sold-out screenings.

SkeenaWild hosted two screenings in Terrace, and community partners hosted individual screenings in Kitimat, Smithers, Haida Gwaii and Prince Rupert.

Enter your work today!

Be part of a diverse community of artists showcasing their work and creating an inspiring and vital focal point for people to come together to explore the diverse, ever-changing world of B.C.'s Skeena Watershed.

All professionals, amateurs and everyone in between: you're invited to show the Skeena Watershed through your lens! Programming is focused on documentaries, video montages and photography, with all formats and topics within the Skeena region welcome.

Simply submit your photo and/or film (limit of one per category) before Oct. 1, 2024, at skeenawildfilmfestival.com/2024-submissions

Beyond showcasing this amazing region, cash prizes are also up for grabs – $100 for the winner of each photography category and between $250 and $300 for the winner of each film category.
