Terrace RCMP say a search warrant used to enter a resident on Munroe St. on Dec.. 12, 2024 yielded a large amount of cash, suspected drugs and weapons.
The amount of money was not specified but among items seized were bats and knives, digital scales and what police described as traffic paraphernalia.
The suspected narcotics were fentanyl and methamphetamine, police added.
“Although items such as knives, bats, and bear spray may not be illegal items for most people to possess, often times some people may be on conditions not to possess them, while other times, some people deny that the items belong to them. This all becomes part of the investigation,” said Terrace RCMP Constable Kelly Cates of what officers found.
Seven people were inside the residence at the time.
Cates said no charge recommendations have been forwarded to prosecutors as of yet.
