Provincial candidates face off Sept. 26

Voters have a chance to listen to what the candidates for the Skeena riding say for themselves Sept. 26.

Voters will have a chance to listen to what the candidates for the Skeena riding in the Oct. 19 provincial election have to say for themselves on Sept. 26.

That's when the Terrace and District Chamber of Commerce hosts a forum at the Sportsplex beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Former Kitimat municipal councillor Claire Rattée is running for the provincial Conservative party while current Terrace municipal councillor Sarah Zimmerman is running for the provincial NDP.

Both candidates have now been approved by Elections B.C. There is still time for others to contest the riding as prospective candidates have until Sept. 28 at 1 p.m. to file their papers with Elections B.C.
