Conservative and Green candidates back out of April 11 All Candidates Forum in Terrace

NDP incumbent Taylor Bachrach, LPC candidate Inderpal Dhillon and CHPC candidate Rod Taylor will be at the forum

The All Candidates Forum at the Terrace Sportsplex on Friday, April 11 will only have three out of five candidates for the Skeena-Bulkley Valley riding, as Conservative candidate Ellis Ross and Green candidate Adeana Young will not be there.

Ward Skinner, executive director of the Terrace Chamber of Commerce shared the news on Monday, April 7.

"Thank you for your considerate invitation to join you. I regrettably am unable to attend your event. Family and previous travel arrangements have me committed at this time," said Young.

"Ellis Ross will be door knocking in other communities, meeting voters throughout Skeena-Bulkley Valley and is unable to attend the Terrace All Candidates Forum," said Cameron Ehl, Ross' campaign manager. "Skeena-Bulkley Valley covers approximately 325,000 square kilometres and Ellis is trying his best to be in as many communities as possible during the election campaign."

The forum will begin at 5:30 p.m., offering casual discussion with the candidates till 6:45 p.m. The moderated discussion will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
