Water restrictions in Terrace have been shifted from sprinkling not being permitted city-wide, to reduced hours for sprinkling.

Effective immediately, the City of Terrace has eased water restrictions to allow residents to use their sprinklers.

Sprinkling is now permitted from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on designated days, according to Stage 2 of the City's five-stage plan. Stage 3 was in effect before during which sprinkling was not permitted city-wide.

Designated days for odd-numbered addresses are Wednesdays and Sundays, while even-numbered addresses can do so on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

No sprinkling is permitted between 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, city-wide.

Watering by handheld hose with a controlled nozzle is allowed at all times.

Vegetable gardens and fruit trees are exempt from all watering restrictions.

The City of Terrace will provide further updates as soon as conditions allow adjustments in these restrictions.
