Man arrested after Terrace gas station robbed

Employee threatened with handgun; cash box grabbed

Terrace RCMP have arrested a 23 year-old-man known to police in connection with a robbery of the Chevron gas station.

On October 18th, 2016 shortly after 10 pm police were called to a report of a robbery at the Chevron gas station on Hwy 16 East.

A man had threatened an employee with a handgun and demanded money. He grabbed the cash box then fled on foot down Clark St.

Darcy William of Williams Lake, B.C. has been charged with robbery with a firearm and robbery with an imitation firearm. He remains in custody.
