VIDEO: Riverboat Days salmon barbecue

A few Kitsumkalum members braved the heat to roast up some sockeye for the barbecue this afternoon.

The Kitsumkalum served up tasty plates of Nass Valley sockeye at the Kitsumkalum salmon barbecue this afternoon.

People beat the heat by gathering in groups in the shade of the trees or under the tents set up at the Kitsumkalum field.

It was the 30th annual salmon barbecue, and next Saturday is a celebration of the 30th anniversary of the last Kitsumkalum totem pole raising.
