THE 2010 Toy Run raffle and auction raised a staggering $23

A WELL established tradition in Terrace and area has resulted in the presentation of a $23,183.93 cheque to the REM Lee Hospital Foundation.

The annual Toy Run raffle and auction, held the end of September last year was well attended with a large group of participants taking part.

The Toy Run itself results in toys being collected for Christmas for the Salvation Army.

Raffles and auctions using donated items provides support for the foundation which assists in the support of pediatric care at Mills Memorial Hospital.

The cheque was presented Jan. 10 at the hospital.

Present were Ron Bartlett, Todd Taylor, Eileen Kennedy and Karlene Clark from the foundation, and Gail Munson from the Northern Motor Inn, a prime supporter of the toy run raffle and auction and Stan McKay from the Roadrunners Motorcycle Club.
