Terrace Art Gallery coordinator Jim Williams stands in the newly renovated gift shop area of the gallery. Williams is asking for volunteers from the community to help him get the rest of the gallery painted today.

The Terrace Art Gallery is calling out for volunteer painters today.

The gallery has been closed for the past month due to annual refurbishments, and they need some help getting the walls painted.

If you are available any time from 10 a.m. onwards, please consider coming down to the gallery to wield a roller for a while, said Jim Williams, gallery coordinator.

He added that if you have dust-sheets, rollers, or trays to bring down that would be helpful as well.

People interested are welcome to RSVP the gallery at 638 8884, or just head on over.

The Terrace Art Gallery is located on 4610 Park Avenue below the public library.

The gallery is due to re-open next Wednesday, Jan. 26. Their next show will feature artist Barb Highe as well as students from the Freda Diesing School.
