A GROUP of Skeena Junior Secondary School French immersion students is getting help from the Northern Savings Credit Union.

The help comes in the form of a $1,500 cheque to assist with travel and other expenses.

The money is part of the 2010 community sponsorship program of the credit union.

Each year the Northern Savings Credit Union distributes $15,000 to community groups in the Terrace area and the French immersion group applied under that program.

The students will be taking the trip this year.
