Centennial Christian students nearly doubled their fundraising goal for Jump Rope for Heart this year.

The students raised $4,152.65, surpassing their goal of $2,500, for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Prizes were handed out according to how much money students raised and that included an iPad mini.

Centennial holds the event every two years and the students skipped under a sunny sky with warm weather.
