Parents, children and teachers came together to celebrate the return of full time StrongStart at Thornhill Primary School last Friday.
The event was a pot luck afternoon celebrating the program which takes place at Cassie Hall Elementary and Thornhill Primary schools.
“When the trustees and district staff saw the value, everyone pushed together to get the funding,” said Joe Vidal, principal at Thornhill Primary.
The programs started out on a full time basis, but were cut down to part time this fall because of a money mix up.
