On Mar. 14, the Skeena Valley Seniors Society held a free Leprechaun Luncheon for their seniors.

"The event was wonderful," said Diana Penner, president of the society. "Seniors benefit from social contact."

Over 115 seniors attended the event in the Terrace Evangelical Free Church's gym.

The luncheon was co-sponsored by the Terrace Regional Hospice Society and other local businesses.

From a crowd sing-a-long rendition of "When Irish Eyes are Shining," to the music of a local band named "Short Notice," those in attendance had a blast.

They also played bingo and enjoyed a home-cooked Irish smorgasbord.
