Show your support for those with cancer

DAFFODIL DAY is today

TODAY iS a day to show your support for those who are fighting cancer.

It’s Daffodil Day and Helen Owen of the local cancer society invites everyone to showh their support by wearing a daffodil pin.

“We are hoping that everyone will wear a daffodil pin [today] to show their support for those with cancer,” she says.

In Terrace, pins are available at A&W, Scotiabank, Northern Savings Credit Union, Shoppers Home Healthcare, Irlybird, RONA, Chevron, the liquor store, Terrace Inn Liquor Store, Boston Pizza and RBC Royal Bank.

In addition, the 747 Air Cadets have been distributing pins at Canadian Tire and Walmart on the weekends.

Relay for Life takes place May 14 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Skeena Junior Secondary School.
