VIDEO: Riverboat Days blast off

Josef Steuer fired off the canon tonight to mark the blast off of Riverboat Days in Terrace

Terrace launched into Riverboat Days tonight with the blast of a canon.

A very excited Josef Steuer lit the fuse to fire the shot after mayor Carol Leclerc led the opening ceremonies crowd in the official count down.

This is only the beginning of the fun, and the Terrace Standard will be taking pictures and shooting video all weekend, so stay tuned.

Here’s a video of the excited Josef sharing how he won the chance to fire off the canon.

And here is the blast off! (Shot by his wife Babsi Steuer).
