Centennial Christian students learned firsthand what paramedics do and what's inside of an ambulance April 25.

Local paramedics Jacob Mantel and Shauna McCully showed them the rolling bed that takes injured people to the ambulance and let some students get strapped in and see what it was like.

Students took a look inside the ambulance and got to sit in a chair with tank-like tracks on it for moving people up and down stairs so paramedics don't have to lift them.

And students saw and heard the lights and sirens in action too.
