Nine Terrace RCMP officers honoured

SEVERAL LOCAL RCMP officers were honoured with Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medals, long service medals and district officer's certificates of appreciation at a ceremony at RCMP district headquarters in Prince George recently.

Topping the list with two medals were Sgt. Pam Scott and Sgt. Bill Casault, who each received a diamond jubilee medal and a 20-year long service medal from deputy commissioner Craig Callens, commanding officer of B.C.

Diamond jubilee medal recipients were Inspector Dana Hart and Cpl. Chris Romanchych.

The 20-year long service medal recipient was Staff Sgt. Robert Pritchett.

The 30-year silver clasp recipients were Cpl. Mike Lamarche and Staff Sgt. Don Murray.

District officer's certificates of appreciation went to Const. Mark Alexander and Cpl. Brent Pearson.
