ANOTHER business has supported the effort to buy Shames Mountain.
Rainbow Chrysler from Prince Rupert made a recent donation of $1,300 to the My Mountain Co-op which is working to raise the money needed to buy and then improve the ski mountain located between Terrace and Prince Rupert.
Rainbow owner and manager Brian Musgrave presented the cheque to a group of Prince Rupert volunteers belonging to the Co-op.
The Co-op already has a letter of understanding with the mountain's current owners. They've expressed a desire to sell the business and have agreed to lower their asking price to help make the Co-op's purchase efforts more feasible.
