A FORD Motor Company promotion undertaken by Terrace Totem Ford in Terrace in which donations were made for every test drive of a new Ford vehicle has resulted in a cheque to the Terrace Minor Hockey Association.
The amount was $4,880 and was topped up by $200 from the dealership to see which of the bantam, pee wee or midget rep teams could line up the most test drives.
Money was also raised via a hot dog sale.
The test drive day, which took place last year, also resulted in a cheque for $2,740 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
Terrace Totem Ford representatives were on hand last week to present the cheque to members of the three rep teams.
