Heritage Park lights up for Christmas

Heritage Park Museum is joining up with the Greater Terrace Beautification Society to offer four festive evenings of lights and music. Beginning Dec. 13 and continuing Dec. 14, Dec. 20 and Dec.

Heritage Park Museum is joining up with the Greater Terrace Beautification Society to offer four festive evenings of lights and music.

Beginning Dec. 13 and continuing Dec. 14, Dec. 20 and Dec. 21, the park's heritage log cabins will be dressed up with Christmas lights and feature holiday music or carollers.

Entrance to the park is by donation of cash, card, a non-perishable food item or a new toy.  Donations will be forwarded to the Salvation Army for its Christmas hamper program.

The museum is also selling staff-designed Christmas sweaters featuring vintage, local Christmas cards and other merchandise in support of the museum's programs and events. The Dec. 13, Dec. 14, Dec. 20 and Dec. 21 hours are all from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
