A LOCAL citizen helped out the food bank with a personal donation recently.
Dave Materi gave a cheque for $200 to the Terrace Churches Food Bank at its first opening of the year last week.
Food bank vice-president John Wiebenga gladly accepted the cheque and thanked Materi for his generosity.
The food bank is always appreciative of donations of cash to buy food and food items to give its clients.
The next food bank opening is Nov. 14 to 17.
