Happy Gang Centre shows off new renovations

Everyone's invited to an appreciation tea Wednesday, June 24 to see the centre's first interior renovation and thank those involved

John Sousa of TechniCon paints the walls of the Happy Gang Centre dining room back in May as part of the centre's renovations.

The long-awaited renovations to the Happy Gang Centre are reason for celebration, appreciation and a thank-you to the businesses who provided materials and the contractor who did the work at an appreciation tea at the centre June 24.

And the public is invited to see the improvements, which are the first in terms of interior paint, washroom retrofitting and more since the centre was opened many years ago.

Members had to spend a few weeks away from the centre while it was closed for the renovationsand now they’re back and looking to show it off.

The Appreciation Tea to celebrate the renovations at the Happy Gang Centre will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 24 for businesses who donated items, the contractors and the public.
