The local Walmart employees participated in an in-store fundraising drive to donate to local charities and groups.
The employees donated money, and the head office matched the amount.
There's Walmart store manager Danielle Koven giving a $4,000 cheque to Terrace Church's Food Bank treasurer Dennis Brewer.
This February good bank volunteers handed out 742 bags to 494 families, compared to last February when volunteers gave out 738 bags to 487 families.
The food bank's next big fundraiser is Food For Friends on Feb. 26th.
