Dwell in peace

TO SHOW their appreciation for veterans and the role they played in maintaining our freedom, Centennial Christian School Grade 4/5 students performed a dance for the school and invited guests Nov. 8 for Remembrance Day.

The music, May you Dwell in Peace by Craig Cassils, was chosen by teacher Kimberly Lindsay.

Four students who take dance classes here did a dance and their classmates formed a cross and held lights and poppies, which they would move at certain points in the music.

The class had practised for about a month, said Lindsay.

Students trade off for who will be dancers or the prominent people in a presentation so everyone gets a chance to be in the spotlight, she added.
