THE HOSPITAL education room was crowded when the doors opened for the annual Mills Memorial Hospital Auxiliary craft and bake sale Nov. 25 and 26.
A variety of handmade items and baking were spread out on tables for eager buyers.
The hospital auxiliary raises thousands of dollars each year to pay for needed equipment and comfort items for the hospital and Terraceview Lodge through its thrift store, gift shop and events like the craft sale.
Members also take part in the flea market at George Little House in the summer and often raffle off quilts made by members or finish unfinished quilts donated through the thrift store.
Community support is appreciated greatly and the auxiliary is always looking for volunteers.
