The 2022 edition of the City of Terrace and Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine’s annual Christmas Tree Chipping for Charity event was a success.

Residents who brought their Christmas to Greig Ave. for disposal on Jan. 8 donated over 450 pounds of food and more than $200 to the Terrace Salvation Army.

Geier Waste Services donated hauling services for the event, and RainCoast Arboriculture donated the time and resources chipping the trees and turning them to compost.
