In a brief but impressive ceremony at the Royal Canadian Legion on June 27, WO2 Sam Christiansen SPE was presented with the first annual Branch #13, Terrace Steel Aerospace Award for his outstanding performance as a cadet in the 747 Squadron.
Christiansen plans to go on to a military career.
At the year-end parade and award ceremony June 11, Christiansen received the award in the shape of an airplane propeller standing on its edge at the cadet hall at the airport.
