Riverboat Days week in Terrace continues today with an emphasis on art.

Children's pioneer crafts workshops at Heritage Park begin at 12:30 pm and end at 3:30 pm. Registration beforehand is required and the cost is $5. Ph. 250-635-4546.

The Youth First Nations Painting Workshop and Exhibit starts at 11 am at the Terrace Nisga'a Society Building, 4441 Lakelse Ave. There is a workshop fee of $25. Ph. 250-635-4422.

From noon to 4 pm Artists in Motion display their work on the corner of Emerson and Lakelse which is being transformed into a green space by the Greater Terrace Beautification Society.

A kiddies parade begins at 2 pm at the Skeena Mall. This is for children 8 and under Ph. 250-635-2546.

At 7 pm this evening there is an interpretative walk on Ferry Island. It begins at the Rotary playground.

Also at 7 pm, there is a guided tour of historical buildings and properties conducted by Cynthia Hansen and Yvonne Moen. There is a $12 fee and that includes a copy of the booklet, "My Town: A Walk with Founder of Terrace." This begins at the George Little House at 3100 Kalum St. which is named after the city's founder. Refreshments follow the tour. Ph. 250-638-8887.
