THE LIBRARY received a donation from a local group, who chose it to get the proceeds from an annual event.
The Scottish Country Dancers gave a cheque for $307.41 from its 19th annual Robbie Burns Celebration, which people attended by donation, to the public library.
The group gives away the proceeds to a different place every year.
Past recipients include the food bank, soup kitchen and Ksan House Society.
