Muriel Michiel (Fowler) celebrated her 92nd birthday with friends at the Happy Gang Centre March 14.

Muriel was born on March 13, 1922 at the Prince Rupert Hospital as there was no hospital in Terrace.

Her mother had to go to Prince Rupert at the time of her birth.

Muriel has been an active member of the community of Terrace over the years with the Happy Gang Centre, Rebekah Lodge, Anglican  Church, volunteering for the Royal Canadian Legion and food bank.
