Norm's Auto Refinishing is getting a touch up.

A new state-of-the-art pain booth is being installed in the Keith Ave. business.

Manager Mel Rundell said the new paint booth will speed up the process and cut down on greenhouse gas emissions, being 65 per cent more efficient than the old one. It'll also be longer, at 27 feet long compared to the old one, which is 24 feet long.

He explained that it's time to upgrade; the old booth has 30-year-old technology.

The improvements should help speed up customer service abilities, but it's also being done now to get ready for the boom in Terrace that's expected in the coming years, Rundell said.

Along with the booth, Norm's is getting some new paint, a whole new roof, a new sign, and new doors and lights in the painting area.

Rundell expects the business to be running again by the end of May.
