TERRACE residents woke up to a name change this past week.
Boston Pizza on Hwy16 temporarily renamed itself Vancouver Pizza.
The name change, in recognition of the Stanley Cup Final between the Boston Bruins and the Vancouver Canucks, took the shape of a banner draped across the restaurant's sign.
The change is temporary and the banner will be taken down once the series is over.
The change occurred at every other Boston Pizza outlet.
Although the name would suggest otherwise, Boston Pizza's roots are in Western Canada. It now has more than 325 restaurants across the country and has branched out to the United States.
