Sharp shooting for Terrace archers

Archers from the Terrace Whiskey Jack Archery Club participated in the Bulkley Valley Bowmen's Bowhunter’s Jamboree.

Archers from the Terrace Whiskey Jack Archery Club participated in the Bulkley Valley Bowmen’s Bowhunter’s Jamboree in Smithers April 23 – 24.

And they didn’t return home empty handed, with six of the archers earning top spots.

Rita Wacholtz took first place, followed by Sandy McAndrew, in the women’s recurve bow category.

Allan Correia won first in men’s long bow, with Scott Trent just behind him in second place.

Cynthia Ridler took second in women’s long bow and Holly Trent earned herself a bronze in the girl’s youth category.

The annual competition drew in around 170 archers from all over northern B.C.
