The Terrace Totem Ford midget rep hockey team is hosting its biggest fundraiser of the season.
They will be selling fireworks in the Skeena Mall food court from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Oct. 24 to Oct. 31.
Manager for the team Darren Munson said this fundraiser subsidizes the largest portion of the team’s travel expenses.
“Due to us being in the north, we have to travel quite far in order to compete at a higher level, this is a huge cost to all the rep teams from the north,” Munson said.
“We definitely couldn’t do it without such fantastic support from our Hockeyville community spirit.”
