ROAD HOCKEY returned as a Riverboat Days event this year with a new location but plenty of action.

The road hockey challenge saw teams of boys chasing a ball and trying to score while in "rinks" marked off by red snow fence in the parking lot behind Terrace Totem Ford July 31.

Team THK (named for its players who were from Terrace, Hazelton and Kitimat) dressed in black took on the Snipemares in red shirts adn played a hard fought game until the end.

THK won 9-2.
