Terrace Drag Race Association is getting ready to present its “Summer Classics” race this weekend.

“We are very excited about this weekend as it promises to be a very exciting time of drag racing and a bonus car show on Sunday to close things off,” said Chris Colborne, spokesperson for the association.

The races will take place just south of Terrace at the North West Regional Airport.

The event will run all day Saturday and Sunday with admission costing $10 at the gate.

“(We) hope to see as many racers and spectators as possible. So come on out to the Terrace airport to enjoy some competitive drag racing and sunshine,” Colborne said.
