Terrace's Midget Rep Kermodes are coming home with gold after beating Alberni Valley 4 – 1 in the Tier 3 provincial championship final in 100 Mile House earlier today.

The team went 7 – 0 for the tournament, outscoring their opponents 60 – 4 over the course of the five-days.

The final was an evenly paced, high tempo game that saw the game tied at one at the end of the first period.

Terrace took the lead late in the second to end the period 2 – 1, and fended off a determined Alberni team to score two more in the third for the 4 – 1 final. Shots on goal were 31-28.
