Caledonia’s Sr. Girls basketball team’s season is shaping, with the team winning first place at the Valleyview Classic tournament in Kamloops two weekends ago and taking first again this past weekend in Prince George.

In Kamloops, the team beat the hometeam, Valleyview, 66-43, in their first game. They're second game saw them stun Correlieu 87-18, and the final game of the day was against Prince George Secondary, where they won 65-47 to earn the top spot.

Guard Annaig Benard was named MVP, and Khali Pelletier received tournament all star.

And in Prince George last weekend, the team faced Sexsmith in their first game and won 59-43.

Then they faced the home team College Heights in their second game, and came away with a decisive 60-35 win.

And in the finals, they were up against Prince Rupert's Charles Hays Rainmakers where the team won 56-40 to take first place.

The team is heading to Williams Lake this weekend to see if they can continue their streak.
